Boulder, Colorado

Elevation 5,430 feet (that's just over one mile high), Boulder is located at the intersection of the Great Plains and the Rocky Mountains. The distinctive Flatirons let you know you are looking at the Front Range.

Boulder is located about 30 miles Northwest of Denver and 1 hour Southeast of Rocky Mountain National Park. Baseline Road in Boulder, is called such because it lies along the 40th parallel (40 degrees north latitude ), putting Colorado at the geographic center of the United States.
